Since the day the Spanish explorers first saw our tropical paradise in 1513 and named it Islamorada, or “Purple Isles,” it set our rich maritime history and culture in motion. By 1912, Henry Flagler built a railroad reaching all the way to Key West. Next came the Key’s first road in 1928. Since then, some of America’s most notable names including Ernest Hemingway and Tiger Ted Williams discovered our area's beauty and spent significant time here, virtually becoming locals.

As longtime residents of Islamorada, our love for these islands, paired with a desire to restore, enhance and re-imagine some of the best facets of the place we call home, drive us to share our passion for delicious, locally-sourced food and quality service with our guests today –- and for generations to come.

At Marker 88, we welcome you to step into a culinary experience that is as unique and unparalleled as the Keys themselves. Our scenic mangrove islands and tropical treasures lend the perfect atmosphere for you to experience one of the Key’s most iconic dining experiences imaginable. Our fresh takes on seafood, steaks and pasta, down to our hand-crafted cocktails and craft beers earned us the 2022 Best of Islamorada Award in the Seafood Category and the 2022 OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award.

So please sit back, take in a little bit of history and enjoy a leisurely, elevated dining experience under the shade of one of our many Gumbo Limbo trees.

Welcome to Marker 88.
